This projects explores the idea of infill and reuse as opposed to demolition. The project is located in Butetown, one of the wards in Cardiff which is one the first multicultural communities in the UK. This area has often been left behind in terms of
upkeep and development, although in  recent years the site has seen a proposal to be levelled in favour of 2500 luxury apartments, completely
displacing the businesses on site and overbearing the current 

infrastructure. The project seeks to infill the site with dwelling to form a new neighbourhood that suits a more modern way of living whilst also respecting the industrial heritage.
